I appear to have two Afghan geckos myself... if pictures are anything to go by, my male is less than pure though, since he carries the giant strain. Absolutely beautiful animals, I truly love the abundance of spots.

Just because it looks similar to an afghan doesn't mean it is its probably just a normal. I recently traded of my last pure afghan. The differences are they are smaller and take longer to mature.
