Hey,
a few days ago i saw a large reptile sprint across the balcony at the front of my house where i keep my crickets, i went out and had a look and wow, i saw in front of me the most beautiful Eastern Water Dragon ( Physignathus lesueurii lesueurii ) i have ever seen and ive seen quite a few.

It opened its mouth to warn me off then went over the edge and side climbed the walls of my house and stopped on a window sill to bask for a moment then continued moving until i lost sight of him.

2 days later i saw him whilst in my back yard, basking on some hot rocks and decided to take a few pics-

I have seen him once more since then, he seems to stay in my back yard and in the leaf litter and bushes round the side of my house so next time i see him ill take some better pics.

He (due to his much brighter coloration, and reddish colored belly) was a joy to see and damn can they climb.

Cheers-

Darren.

Oh wow that's neat!!! He looks like a cross between an iguana and a beardie! That's so cool that you can see that in your backyard. I've always said that the only other place I'd live becides the U.S. is Australia. I'd visit it, except I hate planes lol
