Eating and shedding dificulties

Our leopard gecko is a bit over a year old. She all of a sudden seems to have stopped eating and I can see she's lost some of her fat stores from her tail. She also doesn't seem to be able to get the shed off her face when she sheds each time and I'm wondering if it could possibly be obstructing her vision and she can't see the movement of her meal worms in order to "hunt" them. Do you think it would be ok if I remove the shed from her face myself? It seems pretty stuck on and I don't want to hurt her or make her skin sore.

Any advice?

give her nice warm baths to help with the shed, after her bath take a wet q tip and gently roll the qtip over her face, this should help.

Thanks, I will try that. She also seems to be shedding a lot more often and is no longer eating it. Any thoughts on that?

you can also buy shed aid by zoo med, i spray mine just before they shed then again if any sheds stuck and it seems to work pretty well... as for the eating ive read somewhere they can go for up to a month without eating, it doesnt or shouldnt happen often... have you tried changing your feeder? she may just be bored :)
