hi harry, I don't know what is wrong with your sunglow but it sounds like you should take him to a reptile vet as soon as you can...good luck

I cant tell you why with the striking but no eating but im sure someone will be along soon who can help you with that

My first gecko did not eat for closer to 3 months when i brought him home and my second for around 2 so they are hardy little things and can go on for longer than you would think with out food. I only post this because i remember how worried i was when mine were not eating :)

leos will do that if the prey is real big.try using smaller crickets

I agree, try mealworms or roaches too if that doesn't work.

If he doesn't eat any of those things I would take him to a vet right away and make sure that he is healthy.

First thing I thought was also that the prey might be too big. General rule of thumb is nothing wider around (imagine the circumference of the cricket) than the space between your leo's eyes and imo if it's a shy/stressed leo using smaller prey can only make things a lil easier.
