Eco Earth/ Coco Fiber

I’ve just made a lay box for my female leopard gecko but I was curious if the coco fiber can be ingested ? If so can it cause impaction?

I've never heard of coco fiber causing impaction before. Yes, they may stick to your pet if they're moist and may appear dirty but that's about it.

Never had any trouble with cocofiber.

They can be ingested, but as long as you pick out large/long threads, you'll be fine. Anything loose can be ingested, but coco fiber is safer than geckos ingesting moss, vermiculite, or perlite (other laybox alternatives that some people use). Just be sure to pick out any large pieces while preparing the box for your females.
