Egg bound female.

Okay so at the show someone brought in a under weight single eg bound female.
they were not going to take it to the vet. and didnt want it so i took it in hopes i could find a way to unbind her myself.


im doing some searching now

but does anyone have any ideas??

You might try warm baths a couple times a day. She could also be dehydrated, and this would help build up the fluid level in her body. Is she eating?

she is very underweight as well.. but i do have her soaking as we speak

If you can get her eating, at least there will be some activity in her abdomen area. She may also not ever lay it, and absorb the egg.
