Egg Bound?

Ok, one of my customers sent me this picture of a gecko she has, she brought her to a vet and the vet took X-Rays and they said the X-Rays showed nothing, not avery good vet if you ask me. The vet recommended that she soak her and give her a few drops of mineral oil to help pass it.

The Gecko, to me, looks like she is egg bound, what do you guys think? She had recently put her in with a male, so it is probably an egg, but, it also looks a little like the Gecko that Marcia had that had the hernia.

Any ideas?

Our vet took an xray of one of our geckos that we thought was eggbound and said that he saw nothing, and everything was fine. We found her dead the next night. That picture looks a lot like the ones Marcia posted, and if they don't get her to a different vet I don't think the outcome will be very good. :main_no: Please keep us posted on this girl, Jeanne.

Oh wow it does look egg bound to me, I have never seen it first hand only in pictures, poor thing that has to be painful.

Ohhhh nooooo!!! It looks like a hernia to me, too. Please have your customer get her to a QUALIFIED vet ASAP!!! Where do they live? Maybe I can help finding one...

I think she lives in Maine. I am going to email her a link to this thread, and hopefully she will sign up, and reply. She is a very nice girl, and will be heart broken if she loses this Gecko.
