Egg Crates from Crickets for Dubias

My local pet shop gave me some egg crates from their crickets to use for my dubia roaches. But i am skeptical if it is safe since crickets used to live on them and there could be fecal matter from the crickets left over. Would it be ok to use them or should i just toss them out?

Egg crates are cheap, I would feel better buying fresh ones.

Crickets carry a pin worm.
No idea if a possibility of passing it to roaches....
BUT: why risk it.

Best not to cross equipment use with different species. Next time that you purchase some eggs at the grocery store, get the egg container that you need (not the foam one of course).

Or head over to a restaurant and ask them to save the egg flats, most restaurants use eggs in large quantities that they come in flats.

I would get new ones just to be safe.
