This is my first time breeding geckos and I have been watching my female for a while now waiting for her to ovulate around two weeks ago I suspected her to be ovulating. I introduced my male and she was cooperative they bred multiple times over the two days I left them together. I noticed her getting fatter but I couldn't see any large eggs developing like I was suspecting. Yesterday she laid two eggs in her warm hide both were flat and seemed small to me (I have no first hand experience to compare with though). I was wondering if this was common in first time breeders? I know first time eggs are most often infertile but should they still develop for the full length of time? She is also only about 10 months old but she weighs 81g, I know this is young to breed but she surpassed the weight requirements by far and was receptive to the breeding.
Thanks for any advice this year will be a learning experience for me.
