Was feeding my guys and going through there tank picking up a little bit and noticed that one of their hides was completely packed inside with sand so i picked the hide up slowly started to dig knowing there was a egg cluster in there somewhere. They would have had to have laid them within the last 12 hours and they were laid in said, they appear to be ok but what do you think the chances of them are of being hurt by the sand. I brushed as much sand off of them as i could before i put them in a container with vermiculite and through them into the incubator. Today is my birthday so it would be kinda sweet knowing that they may have tried to give me a present for my birthday so i hope the eggs survive, if they do i deff. wont be getting rid of these guys!
Also kind surprising that they weren't laid in this lay box we have for them that is moistened daily and contains vermiculite, any ideas?
**EDIT**
The eggs don't feel any different or look any different to me from the ones we have had laid this year in the vermiculite if this helps make your decisions better.
