hello , can anyone tell me if it harms how often i open my egg incubator and egg container to keep a check on the egg . because my digital hygrometer is telling me it is 54% , measured with the prob in the vermiculite . but the vermiculite is very moist and i think it would be to wet if i added more water . ive done the snowball squeezing thing on the vermiculite and it seems right to me . does it do any harm to open the container . now and then .
