Egg laying and weight

My female was bred on 1/9/08. I believe she is carrying eggs, but she gets very grumpy when I try to look or take a picture to post. She really hasnt gained any weight since she bred and isnt eating normally(Ive heard they go off food when they are going to lay.)How much of an increase in weight should I see when the eggs begin developing? Also, how long will she lay after being bred? Its been 15 days today.

Sounds like she may be getting ready to lay. Mine all stop eating for a few days just before they are ready. It can take as little as 14 days or as long as a month for them to lay after breeding. Just make sure you have her nest box read for her!

Ok thanks for clearing my mind.Yes, she has her lay box ready and the incubator is running at the desired temp and wroking well.
