Freya seems unwell tonight and im looking for advice.
She had been on eco earth for about 6 months but i took it out cos it just seemed too dusty and messy. Up to this point she hadnt eaten much but had kept her weight and had pooped fine.
Shes now on paper towel and since being switched has eaten and pooped.
I noticed yesterday she seems to have what looks like an egg and a darker area above it on her body. She hasnt been bred but i know they can still lay infertile eggs....Daisy did one about a month ago.
Atm Freya seems to have lost a lot of fat out of her tail even though she started eating a few worms every feeding. I gave her a little soak today incase she is having trouble pooping but so far she hasnt done anything.
She seems very restless and isnt staying in the same place for very long. She keeps going to her poop area but hasnt done anything. Earlier she started opening and closing her mouth and looked like she was trying to vomit but nothing came out.
She is really starting to worry me so im asking if anyone has had similar things happen.
Ill be phoning the vets anyway tomorrow to make appointment to get Bubba's stub checked to make sure its healing properly and can ask them about it but any information or ideas would be great.
