Egg Question.

My girl laid two eggs last night. It has been about a month since she laid her first egg. The question that I have is. She laid one egg in her moist hide and the other one on the lid of her moist hide. I got them very soon after she laid them. Within an hour I would guess. The one that was laid in her hide looked just like the first one she laid. It was firm and egg shaped when I took it and put it in my incubator. The other egg that she laid was longer and narrower than the eggs she has laid in the hide. It was also a lot softer feeling than the first and second egg. Does anyone have any ideas for me about whether one or the other might be good or bad?

I would keep it for awhile just incase. I've heard that they will lay infertile ones outside the lay box. I know ours did with her only infertile egg. But still hold onto it.

I kept both. They are in the incubator with the first one she laid. The first egg is denting. I hope that it turns out ok. I have them all on hatch rite.

The ones they lay outside the box usually turn out to be infertile but we have a first year breeder that laid one of hers on top of the box and it turned out to be fertile. It is due to hatch in 4-6 days!
