Egg Questions

Today is day 57 for my first 2 eggs. Laid on on 1/7/12. Both eggs are the same as they were when they were laid. Maybe a bit and I mean tiny bit bigger. The eggs are the same color white as when they were laid. I flashed the eggs and one shows a black dot inside and the other seems like no lite came through. There is no smell. The eggs are more chicken looking eges but of course smaller. My other two eggs laid on 2/7/12 are longer then the first . I have temps the first month at 81 to 82 and after that I raised it a bit to 83 - 84. Now the temps are at 86 - 87. I didn't want to raise it too much hte first time as I have the 2 other eggs. I am trying to get females. Here are my questions.

How much longer should I wait?
How long does it take for an egg to develop from beginning to being laid?
How long between the first set and the second being laid?

I have two females and one male. One of the females is still very wide and the first female is normal size. Reason I ask is I think the eggs are from the same female and not a set from each. Is that possible?

I would just wait (within reason) until they collapse or rot. If in three months say, they don't hatch - throw them away. I've just had my third clutch hatch today, so I'm assuming the second clutch (single egg) isn't fertile. I'm still keeping it for a few more days, anyway. Two of my seven eggs so far have been way bigger than the other five and they are all from the same female. good luck. Bob

I've found it to be about 2 weeks for both of the other questions. It can vary though from gecko to gecko. My female Hera, last year, laid 2 eggs every 14 days without fail.

Well my prayers have been answered. I have a new addition to our family take a peek. Funny thing is this egg had no glow at all light didn't show red or yellow. The other egg showed red with a black dot. Lets hope we have another one in the morning. 60 days from egg to baby. I have temps the first month at 81 to 82 and after that I raised it a bit to 83 - 84. Now the temps are at 86 - 87 for a week now. HEHEHE. Here are the pics of my family and our new member.
