So I'm pretty sure they weighted and when i got my scale Athena weighed 28 grams. Well she gained a gram which gave me reason to come up with this question. Do eggs make them Heavier by a lot, Like would i see significant growth? If she was stable around 28G before she may have become gravid can i expect it to move up to 35G if she has Eggs?

It makes sense that the weight would all come from within. Since they probably don't increase feeding all THAT much and their digestive systems probably don't change so they would take a hit while producing an egg or multiple eggs. Question is, by how much?

It can vary alot. Some females don't seem to change weight at all. But some drop significantly. But mostly I've only seen a change of 4-5 grams. I believe that their health before breeding is an important factor. The females that have lost weight, tend to continue to lose weight all season. Their tails shrink and they are more likely to reabsorb the eggs. I've one female who has dropped from 75g in January to 54g at the beginning of June. (I wish she'd stop laying! Since I removed the male, she keeps laying duds. She's laid 11 clutches this season.)

The ones who stay a steady weight, pop out eggs very regularly. I think that some are just good breeders, and some have a harder time of it.
