Egg with tear in side

I found two eggs in the laybox and like an idiot I pulled them apart slowly. They both tore a layer off in about 1/8 inch square.

I know I need to just wait a week and candle them, but they have a strange "saturated" look to the egg on the bottom torn half.

Has anyone ever had a successful hatch from a tear like this?
Is there anything I can do?

Thanks

Can you give a better idea of
these statements? Is there a hole all the way through
the shell? Saturated meaning "soft?" ....Dented in? ????
take care. HJ

Tear is like a scuff or peel. Not all the way through. Its like pulling off a layer of skin. It's only torn half way through. Does that make more sense?

I have successfully incubated and hatched eggs that were 'torn' or 'leaking' by tearing a small piece of paper towel and patching the area... similar to putting a piece of tissue on a razor nick.

Thank you for the input. I'm really surprised you were able to hatch a leaky egg. That's awesome. I'll keep an eye on them and candle them in a week. We had a 4 hour power outage last night and now I have that to worry about too.
