She is plenty old enough to lay eggs, so even though she's "too small", she may still lay them for you. Make sure you are offering her PLENTY of extra food right now and especially if she starts laying eggs.

I have superworms, mealies and crickets for them everyday. Somedays they dont eat buy they always have the option to. They also have calcium dishes to lick from. I have a male but he is in a separate cage, maybe they can smell/sense each other and that triggered ovulation? I have two other geckos both female, so a total of two are ovulating now and one is just well there. The male has been scratching and darting around his cage, so I bet he can smell them too.
