2 of my eggs I have had in the incubator for 46 days dented some this morning. How long after they dent do they normally hatch. Mine have always hatched within a couple hours before. These seem to be taking longer. Thanks, Mike

I just recently saw a post where someone said their egg was dented for a week before it hatched. Ours usually dent and within the next day they hatch.

Thank you. Forgive me if I'm wrong because I did ask the question. But isn't puting a moist paper towel over eggs that are ready to hatch wrong to do? No argument here, I just know that they are suppose to dent before they hatch.

You can put wet paper towel over an egg that's denting due to issues not related to an egg about to hatch. Denting for an egg that's going to hatch is pretty normal, so a wet paper towel isn't really the best idea.
