I am soooo happy right now! I woke up at 5:30 this morning for school, and was doing my daily gecko check when i saw that all of pork chops subtrate in the moist hide was piled up, and she was pretty skinny looking. so i started brushing the layers away, and low and behold! two georgeous eggs! they are already firm and white! I know im rambling but im just so excited! these are my first eggs in three years! :D well they are now safe and sound in my hovabator on my GEO, and are doing great so far! Oh and for any wondering, they are being incubated at 86 degrees so that their genders will be a surprise for me :)
here they are :D

thank you very much :D hopefully they don't end up like a lot of first clutches: infertile. but she is already a proven breeder, so that'll probably help :)

well npow i have a total of 8 eggs in the incubator. Sakura and Pork chop laid eggs today, and my girl damsel laid some a while ago! here they are when i found them!

I feel horrible though! I wasnt expecting Pork chop to lay eggs for a while yet (they didnt look that big in her belly) so when i opened the container there was no piled up substrate and she wasnt that skinny looking, so i decided the moss was too dry. So I poured water in and started mixing it up with my hands which rolled and dented her eggs before i sow them :( do you guys think they will be okay though?

either way, here are all of my eggs at the moment! :D

the ones with black marks are Pork chops (they will be normals het tremper, pos. het eclipse, and pos. het blizzard, unless the dad proves out as het tremper)

the green marked ones are Damsel's (they will be hypo tangs in varying degrees, but they are her fist clutch ever and dont appear to be feertile, so we will just wait and see :) )

and the pink marked ones are Socky's (They are mack snows het tremper, unless dad proves out as tremper. A male hatchling will be used in the future for a SS project i have planned)

Enjoy guys!

Are you incubating all of them for male, or incubating that delicup at mid-temps (for random males/females)?

Also, if I had eggs that were dented, I would probably go through the pain of not incubating them. :(

There is a recent post about a hatchling born with a spinal deformity, and I think they said it was because of a mis-shaped egg. I would not want to take the chance of a deformed egg developing a deformed hatchling. :( That would be too painful for me to bear. But I have a novice/amateur viewpoint (forgive the blunt-ness): "Unincubated eggs = wearing a condom." I assssssume that the egg is just yolk and that yolk wont feel pain if it doesn't develop??

His brother came out with a straight spine. He can walk pretty well, though when the time comes I may have to take the back legs off of any crickets he eats. His egg was kind of messed up so I think that may have caused it, but I plan on caring for him no matter what. Thank you!

Edit: OH! and his tail is much less formed than his brothers at only about half the length.

:( Yeah, I would be too scared to incubate.

Thye werent tossed aroung that much guys! :D
the only casualty was a small dent in one of the eggs after i grabbed it when i moved the substrate!
see? (top left egg with black mark)

I have seen threads all over on here where people had eggs that were flat as paper, squshied horribly by the mother, laid in water bowls, and dropped, and the babies hatched out completely normal and healthy. the only wierd one i recall is where a baby was born realllllyyyy tiny from one of those eggs. More often then not, i see deformites caused by temp. fluctuations, and genetics.

and as for the temps, they are being incubated at 86 degrees for mixed sexes :)

Dented eggs could be because of low humidity. I've had dented eggs that plumped up after a few days and the hatchlings had no problems :)

Any progress on your eggs? I haven't heard from you in a while and you used to be quite active around here just a month ago. Hope everything is ok with you.
