They totally dented in from the underside. What happened they where all nice and round and then this last week (week 5) they totally dented way in from the underside. I picked them up to candle them to see how they where doing and they where all pink and veins running through. but totally dented in on bottoms. are they dead?

NO, as long as they are nice and pink. I would not move them anymore, can cause them to die. Is the substrate dry? They may be dehydrated. If so just put a few drops on them or if you are sure that they are dry, put a pice of damp paper towle on top of them for 12 hrs.
