Unfortunately while checking for eggs this morning I found a clutch laid in a water dish :main_no: I fished them out, but one of them was practically liquified so I trashed it; the other one is still firm and I put it in my incubator....any chance it may still develop?

yup! I actually have two that I am incubating right now and they look very good. I also though there was not hope, but they have been doing good.
Hope your egg pulls through!

I think you jinxed me, Patrick! lol. (Just kidding!) I just found 2 eggs in one of my girls' water dishes. Not sure if they're salvageable though.. They're pretty rubbery. =/

I have a...misbehaving female that likes to lay her eggs on the hot side on the floor of the tub, in the feeder dishes, or just about anywhere except her lay box. My solution was to "lock" her in her lay box when it looked like she was around a couple days out from the event. It has worked for me. Just make sure there's enough airflow. You would not want any accidents.
