eggs? ovulation?

these pics are from my female, she was housed with 2 males before I knew they were males, The males are 6 months old and this girl is a year and a half. I was wondering if this was an egg or is she ovulating or is somethng else going on.

this is the female in question taken at the sametime. She does have a pretty good size gut on her.

A little off topic but does a female need to have eggs visible in her body before mating?

honestly im not sure of the size of the males because I was not trying to breed them. I had them housed together because I was told they were all females. come to find out they were not lol. glad to know what ovulation looks like I was wondering how you tell.

No need for that. Normaly before breed you see only folicels sometimes(had it once) the femal is building slugs). You also don´t have always to see the folicels cause the female doesn´t want to ovulat.
