I have 2 eggs incubating and my power went out for 4 days. Do you think that the eggs will be okay? I hope that others will learn from this. What does everyone else do to avoid this issue? If anything. Thanks everyone.

There are surge protectors with batteries. I doubt they would keep it going for 4 days tho. Friend of mine brought all her eggs to another persons house who didn't mind holding and powering the incubator while she waited to get power back.

Leopard gecko eggs are pretty hardy, I've experienced similar things several times, and the eggs always pulled through for me.

Well Bryce, I don't feel the
4 days will hurt a thing.
If problems that won't be the cause.
My opinion is based on better hatch rate out
of the incubator. Temps run a bit above your low.
Mine run 78 to 84 in a small shower room,
on a shelf near a gas water heater.
Went 27 for 27 in 2008 that way.
In 2009 and starting out 2010 in the incubator....
and nothing but problems both years...
Cleaned out the shower room, switched back
for 2010.....not a problem since.
I know it's not a full blown test, everyone
will not agree, but it sure works for me.
For males I use the incubator. 100 percent
satisfied there. (but few male hatches)
Take care. HJ
