eggs?

Ok have a girl and a boy together. If she lays eggs in a natural cage, how will i know??? Is there something I could put in cage to make her lay there? Perhaps a box, soft dirt, warm spot? Really wondering if maybe she already laid some and i don't know.

If you have a natural setup she will lay anywhere, usually not in the lay box. If you feel her stomache when she is close to laying you can feel the eggs. then you can keep checking every few days until you cant feel them anymore. They usually shed about a week before laying too so you can watch for that.

Keep a close look at her sides... Fat today, Fat tomorrow and the next day, then SKINNY the day after.

Once she seems to have gone from obese to Ethiopian overnight - start lookin'! In a naturalistic cage - there's no guarantee she'll do her business in the humidity hut / lay box.

We had our snow in a 29G... She got skinny fast. We couldn't find the eggs... Then we looked in the water dish lol. There they were! haha
