Electric Blue Day Gecko

Apparently these are very rare and after seeing pictures last year I have been on the hunt for one for a long time, I randomly went do a store called AllReptiles here in Canada (Scarborough, Ontario) and found one. I couldn't believe the bright blue colours on it and said screw it, I bought the tank, all the stuff for the inside, plus the gecko for $270CAD Taxes included...

Anyways, I turned its lights on today (picking up a timer) and I've been at home all day (normal day off for me) and its been really dark/black all day, is this just due to stress?

I usually do alot of research before buying any animal/reptile (I also have 2 normal/regular bearded dragons that are a breeding pair (hatched and sold 200+ dragons) and I have 2 panther chameleons that I will be breeding whenever the time is right to do it (not in a rush, I do this as a hobby, the $ I make from it is the last thing on my mind and the money that I do make (including profit) goes to supporting my current and future reptiles as well). The only reason I didn't do much research was because I never thought I would find one of these and bought it on impulse (something I've never done with reptiles).

I have attached a picture of it, as well as the setup

From what I've read these temps are fine:

Basking temp - 90°F-98°F
Middle area of tank - 85°F-92°F
Bottom (substrate area) - 75°F-82°F (its on the cooler side)

Humidity is mostly 70% but it hovers between 60%-80%

Here are the pics (It is now much darker, almost black. Would this be due to stress?):

A guy on another forum has been working on building his Williamsi cage for ages, and he's just been going on and on and on about humidity, so I had to ask. XD They really are very beautiful geckos.

Ah, well I just joined here last night, we are selling our bearded dragon pair and once I do that I plan on getting a few geckos for this huge tank I have (4' long x 3' high x 2.5' deep). Not sure what kind of geckos I will get but I plan on breeding those as well.

Hmmm. That's a huge tank for geckos. Why not get something bigger, like maybe an ameiva, skink, uro, leopard lizard, etc.? Of course, it's obviously up to you. I just don't know any geckos that could really fill a tank that size. XD

Also, welcome!

And put it in your 4' long x 3' high x 2.5 tank?

no not that tank thats for my breeding pair of bearded dragons (which im currently selling). After that I'm not sure what I am going to do with that tank, I want to get a few more tall and wide ones and strictly stick to panther chameleons and have this little gecko as an extra. I find them pretty interesting.
