Heres a pic of my hypo het raptor. In person the patches look very green. Is it an emerine?

Ewww tough one! But Im thinking that they are just darker spots....try to take some pics out of bright sunlight. Honestly Ive found that bright sun light does nothing for the green in my Emerine.

You need to set the exposure a couple clicks lower ( -2/3) or something like that. Most digital cameras have an exposure setting somewhere/how. Then your colors will show up and alot of the over exposure from the bright light will get filtered out. Any orange/green/yellow will look like poop if overexposed. I always photograph 'slightly' underexposed in indirect bright light to get the most accurate colors.

You have to have a gecko come from an emerine line to call it an emerine

True, but many emerines have been mixed with (crossed out) tangerines, hypos, and so on so where do you stop calling it an Emerine and start calling it something else? And what would it be?

Personally I keep Emerines with emerines only, and try to make more interesting emerines. The only exception are a couple of 'interesting experiments' (Emerine with HISS Electric, etc.) but would give it away or sell it as Emerine Crossed With....

I'm not defending anyones stance or making my own even, but like to hear what other people think about a morph becomeing another morph or mutt and how we define that.
