Enigma Questions

I’m sorry if these seem like silly questions. I’m kind of new to geckos. My friend bought a baby leo for me as a birthday present last year and I’ve been hooked since. I finally decided to buy a couple more and saw an ad for two that I liked. When I called, I was told the sunglow enigma female I wanted was already sold but they had a sunglow enigma male. I bought him instead, and he’s confused me since he arrived.

From all the pictures I’ve seen of sunglows, they don’t have many markings, and if they do, the markings are orange or light brown. And they’re albinos. My male has black spots. I’m thinking he’s a tangerine. Am I wrong?

Another thing that I’ve been confused about is he has solid black eyes. I was reading somewhere in this section that sometimes enigmas have eyes that look like eclipse eyes, but they’re not. Well… why are they not eclipse eyes? Does this just randomly pop up, and is it common? And how would I know he’s an enigma and not a (non albino) Tremper eclipse?

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply. :)

Thanks, I had kind of come to that conclusion. :) Like I said, I think he's a tangerine. But all of these morphs can get kind of overwhelming as much as they are interesting. I just wanted to make sure.

I just stalked Ron Tremper's site for a description of their eclipses, and I'm positive that's what he is. So, thank you for helping me figure out his morph. I can't really get a picture of his eye because I'm using a digital camera. I have no control of digital cameras, they're a blight upon the earth. >.> His eyes are definitely solid black though.

Anyway, even if my male isn't an enigma, I'm still interested in this eye thing. What makes an enigma with black eyes different from a gecko w/ eclipse eyes? Are black enigma eyes just a random occurrence or genetic?
