Hi there

As some of you out there may or may not know I have a Tangerine Enigma Het Bell.

Atticus hasn't displayed any reals signs of the Engima Syndrome,no flipping ,circling or stargazing.

At first he walked a little un steady but that has gone away completely now...

He seems completely normal :)

Thoughts?

Thanks!

i have a red stripe enigma and a red eyed (bell) enigma from the urban gecko and both of them are absolutely normal. i think once they get more and more outcrossed, the enigma syndrome will start to be less likely to be a problem. just like the first motley boas and jaguar carpet pythons, they had some pretty severe neurological problems when they first appeared to the market, now you dont see many at all with any issues...the spider ball as well, but you still see alot of those with head wobbles and striking issues, but only time and breeding will tell. i personally think that with generous outcrossing that it will be reduced enough that eventually it will be the exception rather than the rule, but this will take some years, and hard work from breeders. i could be wrong, but i am confident.
