Ok once and for all what exactly is an Enigma, what are the physical characteristics that classify it?

The main things seem to be the eyes and the whole general look. There really is not anything else that looks like them.

Thanks I actually saw this thread before but was too lazy to find it when trying to explain what makes an Enigma an Enigma to someone else.
