Hey guys,

So enigma leos are my favorite, and I was wondering if you guys know of any reputable breeders? I want to look in to getting one sometime in the future.

From what I've seen they can be a bit pricey (I've seen price ranges from 100 to 1000 o.o) and I was wondering if they could be acquired for cheaper from reptile shows?

And what's this weird neurological issue with them I've heard about?

Thanks,
Jayme

Enigmas are really nice although they sometimes could develop the "enigma syndrome" and it consist of shaking and spinning in circles this could prevent them from eating and they could even die. in the other hand not all of them will do this and some will be worst than others some might shake and spin bt still eat and breed with no problem. if ur planing on getting an enigma just do some more research on them so u can be prepared i got my snow enigma from a buddy of mines and he doesn't have any problems if u want send him an email and ask him what he has. just go to his link http://www.luxuriousleopards.com/

Any enigma can develop these symptoms no matter the cost but I believe you may be less likely to get one with problems if you spend more. So if you go buy a $50 enigma from some joe shmoe dont be surprised when its spinning for the rest of its life.
The cost is partly genetics and partly due to the fact that enigmas are still a fairly new genetic morph. The first enigma was released only a few years ago and people are still creating new morph combinations with them.
