So I came home from vacation last night and went straight to bed. I woke up today and went to check on hatchlings and one is missing. My girlfriend said he was in there yesterday so my guess is that it happened over night. I worry only because it's about a week old and I don't think it has ate yet... Should I be too concerned? Of course I won't stop looking until I find it but still.

I would be concerned hatchlings are frail and small so it will be hard to find. But I have had some go three weeks without taking food and survive, so keep looking. What do you keep them in?

One week old so it probably hasn't started eating yet, or just started to eat recently right? Definitely a concern at that young of an age. They're extremely frail, they don't really know what's what just yet at that age so the hatchling may not be going to where its warm to stay alive. Good luck finding the gecko, time to turn the place over...but gently as they're so small they could be hiding anywhere.

Hope you find the little one! That has been my greatest fear. I am constantly going back and checking to be sure all the tubs are pushed back.
