Ever seen your gecko's tail shake just as its about to attack and eat its prey? Man its so neat :)
I dont know if this is normal for all geckos, but my 2 do it every single time, makes it so interesting to watch :main_laugh:

i dont think other geckos do it, at least my cresties don't but the leos do, and my adult doesn't do it anymore, it seems to be a baby thing?

when my female used to eat crickets she did it.. I also like how they kinda twist their head and look down at it before they strike

It's not just a baby thing- my first gecko did it her whole life. I thought it was the cutest thing. None of my current guys do, though the one does the intense head tilt thing.

LOL, I love it when they are so excited over dinner that they vibrate their tails! Unfortunately, most of them out grow it, but I still have a few that do... it's a kick to watch!

Mine only ever did it while eating crix. Havne't ever seen her do it over mealies or supers.

I absolutely love it! It is so funny and some of the behavior (like "cleaning" themselves and stalking prey) are great to watch. No wonder they are called leopard geckos- they're just like felines.
