Everyone meet Charlie!!

This fellow is the reason I love Leopard Geckos. I got him from a local pet store in June 2011. He was a thin, tiny little 3 gram leo. I knew nothing about the species, and had to research before getting him. I am glad I did. Everything the pet store guy said, was totally wrong.
I got him home, and the little guy refused to come out of his hide for two weeks. He was scared of crickets, but would eat mealies.
Long story short. He grew, and grew, and grew. He is now a sweet, calm 101 gram Leo.

I always feel bad for pet store leos, I saw one at petsmart that was probably one to two weeks old. Charlie is fat and healthy now, good job with him

Good Job!! Love to see when people rescue poor Leo's from Pet stores.. I feel like working in one and take care of them the proper way because it really hurts to see these poor animals dying and the stores dont care, they just replace them I am thinking of applying to petco to save these awesome animals!!

I have a friend that works in a pet store. Her boss refuses to listen to her, about bright lights and sand on leos. She gets very frustrated!! So sad!!

The bad thing about rescuing/buying pets from the store is that the money goes right back into producing and keeping more sick animals...
