Yes indeed Paul... My female very is anxious... I want him to reach his full potential so it will be at least Fall before you see any from me... Can't wait!
OK, look, I'll be the first to admit, I have a REALLY hard time with all the morphs and whatnot of leos.
I just don't have the eye or experience working with different morphs to be able to tell them apart.
But, I am going to ask this because I just get so confused.
What makes an Afghanicus an Afghanicus?
What about it's patterning or color, or whatever other unique traits make it an Afghanicus?
Could some explain to me, too, the "Halloween Mask" ones as well? Please?
Those confuse me, too.
Rebecca, the Afghanicus has a few traits that set it aside from all other geckos. Its over all size is quite small compared to other geckos the same age, especially their heads (side to side, front to back), they are very petite. Coloration is also very different. Overall body color is a straw/golden yellow, with varying amounts of black bands and or spots. Anyone that has Afghanicus will tell you that their colors are extremely hard to describe and photograph. IMO, There appears to be a light side and a dark side form ( having to do with the amount of black bands and spots ). They also seem to enjoy living in a group.
About the "Halloween Masks", Albey or Paul Allen would be best suited to give that information out.
