exo terra 5.0 13 watt vs 26 watt

I just noticed they have smaller size bulbs, and Im wondering what the difference to the animals and plants the power would have. I know heat wise the 26 are giving off more heat, but wondering if i really need the 26 watt or should go with the 13 watts. Feed back is wonderful.
