Exo terra reptile den

Im interested in purchasing an exo terra reptile den. Im wondering if anyone how this forum has one. If you do, how do you like it?
Also, for a single leopard gecko, what size den should i get (small med or large)?

I have the large and she loves it. It's by far her favorite hide. There is ample room in the large but it does take up a lot of tank space. Medium might be the way to go.

definitely too small. i had the large for one of my males, but i took it out because i never saw him

Can't the side be removed for viewing? Isn't that the point of this type of hide?

None the less, I'd say a medium size would be the minimum.

The medium is the only one to get as it will hold a normal size adult. They will grow lol.... Mine is almost 7" long now and "refused" to go in the small. As a rule of thumb what I have found is when they want to hide..... they want to really be hidden. That means the ones with large open fronts work... but I don't think they feel secure. As a primary hide the Medium will provide this. Yes, arina is right. It might limit how much you "see" them. On the other hand if you stick to the basics and thermoregulate your tank and provide at least one "secure hide" for them then you are set up right.

I have one of these aswell and I hav to say my gecko loves it he practically lived in this hide only so I started takin it ou every other day. Works well

i have the large den and my geckos love it. works perfectly for 2 geckos but the medium will be better for one
