youve probably seen these. the magnetic ones which go through the glass. well i had the medium size one before and my lizard liked it. i used it as a humid hide. he stopped using at so i assumed it was too small so i bought the big one recently and i dont think hes even noticed he can go inside it. The entrance is quite small. should i make it bigger with a file or something? how do i get him to know he can go inside it?

just show him where the entrance is and encourage him to go in we have them with ours and they love it

Maybe it's too hot where it's at? Hidey spends much of his day in his. Pretty much from the time the family wakes up until he decides to grace us with his presence at night.

the entrance to the medium is on the opposite side of the large our girls got confused at first too, till we showed them where the entrance was

That could be it. Doesn't it say on the boxes that it gets warmer in there than the outside temp?

Actually I thought the dens were designed to keep the inside temp a little cooler just like a real cave. I'm not completely positive though.

it is too keep them cooler. cheers ill try. i was worried the hole might be 2 small. the hole of tge large one is smaller then the hole in the medium 4 sum reason.
