Hi there everybody. I really hope someone will be able to help me ?????
I have been breeding leopard geckos for 5 years now and have not yet experienced what is happening now. In the last 3 weeks i have lost 6 of my adult breeders and 4 sub-adults. The thing is i haven't noticed any signs of illnesses creeping into my colonies. The geckos i have lost is all healthy looking. About 10 days ago i have done panacur treatments to my whole colony of over 300 geckos. I build a new breeding facility about four months ago and moved them all over into there. The thing that i think might be the problem is a lack of oxygen as i did not build the facility with airbricks for ventilation but rather drilled a couple of holes into the outside walls for the purpose of maintaining proper room temperatures easier. One of the males i lost i think had a tumor or some kind of blockage in the intestines as there was a hard part by the stomach area but the rest i have no idea. Today i drilled extra holes for ventilation hoping this will eradicate the problem.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ????

Can you please tell us what you are feeding your geckos, and if it's crickets, where you are getting them? If you aren't comfortable posting the source, send me a PM.

Hi Marcia. I breed my own mealworms and superworms for my geckos. I have been a little low on food the last four weeks but just cut down the amount of food for each one. I personaly don't like feeding crickets to my geckos. Tell me can it be that there was not enough oxygen inside the facility. All of my snake are fine in the other rooms.
