Are eye Deformities usually fatal for hatchlings. Had my fifth eggs hatch and his/her eyes look like the eyelids are not fully formed. Not sure why, but thinking it was a bad clutch to begin with one eggs of the clutch was bad and this egg was really really ugly looking. anything i can do for this baby?

Eyelid deformities can be fatal for hatchlings if they cannot close their eyes, which means their eyes will dry out and they will go blind. Check to make sure it can close the eyelids. If it can, it should be fine. If not, it should be humanely euthanised IMO.

I had one albino hatchling last season, which wasn't able to close the eyes as well. The animal died by itself the very first night after hatching, so no euthanasia was necessary.
