I have a baby gecko and I noticed there was some sheded shin stuck to her head ao I moistened it and it came off by gental rubing but I then noticed there appears to b some on the eye its self and its not nice looking but not really bad...yet so I'm wondering if there is something I can put on the eye to help get off the skin and stop any possiblity of infection. I was thinking tripple anti boiotic oitment but I wanted to ask on here first if I could use something like that please let me know!

Do you mean stuck shed on the eyelid or skin debris in the eye? If there is debris in the eye, you can try to flush it out with plain water or saline solution. If its just a little bit of stuck shed on the eyelid, and the gecko doesn't seemed to be bothered by it, then perhaps you can wait it out. It'll probably come off with the next shed.

Don't use an over the counter ointment in the eye! There are special ones (from the vet) for that very delicate tissue area, only used if an infection is confirmed. I responded to your post over in the general section where you posted this.

my vet gave me a small tube of eye gel that was 6 bucks it's mostly just mineral oil and some petroleum jelly but the eye problem that my leo had was incredibly bad if you can get your hands on some of that then it will keep the eye lubricated enough that there shouldn't be any problems until the next shed

and when my boy is getting ready to shed I put one of his hides into a small sterilite or Rubbermaid container with holes poked in the lid with about a half inch of warm water in the bottom for about 15 minutes and the shed comes off like a dream
