Eye Problem

Well, my my gecko has something in his left eye. I'm pretty sure it is shed, but how do i get it out? I see him lick it once in a while, but its been like that for about 2 days.

Is there any loose substrate in the tank/tub?
Or anything he could have scratched his eye on?

If it is shed just make sure the hide is really humid. But it would be best to get a vet to look at it to be sure on what the problem is.

I use paper towels in my tank, not any sand or anything. I got it out like 5 minutes after i posted by using a paper towel soaked in warm water though. Now he looks like he is fine, but if it ever happens again I am going to bring him to the vet.
