I recently moved into an apartment where the air is a little dryer. I noticed he had a difficult time with his last shed. I purchased the shed bath stuff from Petco and helped him through it. I noticed that it totally encrusted his eyes, he was flipping out because he could not see.
So noticed he recently shed again, there were little flakes here and there but for the most part he stays in his dark hide. I finally go in to make sure he is still alive and one of his eyes are swollen shut. Its either his shed keeping it stuck shut, he scratched at it to much, or he some how bumped into some new silk leaves I put in the tank. I spent last night eye dropping water on it to see if it was the shed but it did not open up. He is also grunting like he is in a lot of pain. Is there any medication I can put on it for the time being or should I let it naturally heal itself?
