I have been wanting to put this thread together for a while now, and finally got my macro lens and extension tubes out to get some true macro shots up to 3:1 ratio. No cropping. Beautiful

Some say the eyes contain markers? To me they are truly amazing. The individual beauty in each eye is remarkable.

Nice eye shots.
What kind of camera and lens are you using?
You say you used a tube, why did you need to use a tube w/ your
macro lens?

Extension tubes allow you to get closer to the subject.
Which in turn with a macro lens allows more magnification.

W/o tubes I shoot 1:1 ratio
with tubes up to 3:1 can be achieved.
If I got a 2x teleconverter on top I could get 6:1 ratio!
