fastest breeding/reproducing gecko?

Hi guys,
I'm just curious as to what species of gecko makes the most amount of babies in a year. I'm not looking to make money from this, I just think it would be neat to start with a few animals and end up with a ton in a large enclosure. I would obviously make sure I had enough space for the offspring, so that I didn't start to overproduce or overpopulate the tank.

Thanks,
Connor

Interesting enough, some of the fastest reproducing gecko species (short incubation period and large number of clutches per year), don't get along communally for very long. The only one I can suggest is parthenogenetic (all female, offspring are clones of their mother) - Lepidodactylus lugubris.

Vipers might work, just remember they are small, and having to catch food in a large enclosure might not be the best.

pictus geckos are good. we had one female in with a male for about 7 hours and she layed eggs every 7-12 day's. you have to be careful though because females can actually die from the stress of laying so often and not being able to build back up the needed neutrients for the mother to survive.
