Fat tail questions

I sell some of my normal leo babies to a local pet store that takes excellent care of their reptiles. The other day I was in the store talking to the owner about some eggs that should hatch soon and I noticed they have a baby fat tail. It is so freakin cute (I have never seen one in person) and I really want to get it. My main question is how does their care differ from leos? I know they need a different substraight but that is about all I know. I will do some more researching when I get home form work tonight I just thought Id post this real quick and get some opinions from you guys. Any info would be great. Thanks!

I haven't had mine that long but the only difference I do is keep them with a bit more humidity. Not much too it and they are really cool and different.

you *should not* keep them toegether. shanerules is making a mistake.

its true their care is very similar. you can keep them in almost exactly the same way, as long as you provide a humid hide. but you *should not* keep them together.

fatties are generaly much calmer and shyer than leo's and there is a good chance they will get bullied and outcompeted for food. keep in mind for reptiles just being constantly bullied can kill them.

not to mention the diferant intestinal fauna of two diferant species can be harmful to each other.

as far as substrate for fatties, paper towels is fine, and works best, unless your going for a display tank.
