latest update from our Dragoon Gecko longterm lavender-project, started in 2007:
Our Proven Breeder Male "Akaris" - he's 1.5 years now, and his firstborn (with "callygraphy- pattern").
Finally closer to the goal of an adult Lavender without yellow pigments.
Can't wait for the next season :nice:!!

BTW for all not familiar with Lavender: It is one of the most difficult colours to breed, as the purple and white pigments easily get covered by other colour pigments. A "normal" grown up & Proven breeder would have developed a huge amount of yellow pigments all over the body after breeding.
So, this is as far as it can get currently in Lavender progression breeding.
We will continue to work on the next generations for reduced spotting aswell- just imagine how they will look like then ;).
