Nice! I use to have many tanks around my house. 180's, 120's, 90's, etc. Now I only have an 18gal nano.

When I lived in Michigan, tons of us would get together a few times a year and have frag swaps where we traded/sold coral frags. I've been to some frag swaps where a 100 people would show up throughout the day... these swaps were usually in someones basement.

Reef tanks are definitely my biggest addiction. I was just at the New Jersey frag swap this weekend.

I would have to say lions and eagles are my favorite animals.

Ok it may be cliche to say but um...leopard geckos? Dont get me wrong i like dogs and cats but they arent me. I like other reptiles but the gecko care is what I like the most..they dont need expencive uv lights, warm the whole room heat lamps, they dont need a mouse/rat/bunny/goat every few weeks, dont eat 100 crix a night (baby beardeds) dont need extremmly high humidity...they are just simple.

So many to choose from ......

I used to have a reef tank in every room of the house, but that all ended with the big move.

I'd have to say any animal in it's natural environment.

Example :

Take an average cornsnakes ( E. g. guttata ) and let it go in a plametto scrub. Simple beautiful.

Find a rattlesnake sunning itself by a rock ledge.

Watch a bobcat walk along before it noticed you're watching it.

Etc.

Obviously, we love our reptiles: our Leos and (other geckos) <--(that we don't have yet).

Matt-I'm going to guess likes his cats Radar and Oscar and German Shepard Aspen...

I have freshwater tanks (angelfish and Discus)- 90, 56, 3-50s, 2 20s...

Then, my horses- 3 arabians that my mom and I show Dressage

I like Dogs but they can be annoying when I'm grumpy...my cats are about the same....the hair bothers me, but I still love them.

I have also fallen in love with a Triton Cockatoo at work.
Planning a 240g 8ft. long reef tank.

Red pandas really are neat animals. A bit feisty, though. And hard to handle- did you know that (unlike cats) they can reach around behind themselves if you attempt to scruff them? :shocked2:

I really like black-crowned knight herons. They're native to my area and such cool little guys. Sort of like the seagulls of the heron world, or something. (I like seagulls, too, actually)

My favorite pet animal may be a gecko, but I'm not sure. I haven't tried living completely mammal free yet, I don't know how well it would go. Currently the roomies have cats. I don't quite get them yet, but will continue to work on it.
