Hello all! My leopard gecko Hobbes is two and a half to three and a half months olds, and he has been growing steadily. He's currently about 5 inches long. I have always fed him mealworms every night and he has eaten well since I've had him.

My question is, when should I stop feeding him like a baby/juvenile? Right now I'm feeding him 7 medium mealworms a night and he always eats all of them right away...I think he's come to expect them around feeding time since I feed him at the same time daily. At what point do I stop feeding him daily and when do I up the amount of mealworms (or lower)? Thanks so much for your help!

Hmm, well they usually let you know because they will eventually not want to eat as much/as often, but you can expect this to happen around 1 - 1.5 years old or so :)

Oh ok! I was afraid that I would possibly overfeed him (calling Hobbes a him for now:) ) or something. But I guess he'll just not eat as much instead of just eating as much as I put in huh. Well thanks so much for your response!

So I should just continue at the current pace until Hobbes lets me know otherwise? I also plan on throwing in some crickets for the first time soon!
