So I'll be getting my leo in about 3 or 4 months. I've had a lot on my mind about feeding though. Lets say I buy a leo and it was raised on crickets and I switch its diet over to mealworms or phoenix worms. Will it eat them? I heard some leos are very picky eaters and the reason why I am asking is because I absolutely HATE crickets. My mom would have a heart attack if I kept over 2,000 crickets in our house and she would probably kill me if they all somehow escaped xD.
Another question I have is about Phoenix Worms. I've heard they have a lot of calcium in them and they are a very good feeder. Could I use them as a staple for my leo and do they still have to be dusted and gut loaded? I've heard on a lot of sites you don't have to gut load them.
If I do have to dust them, could I use calcium plus or would that be too much calcium seeing that phoenix worms already have a lot of calcium in them. And does anyone know if you can buy Calcium Plus at reptile shows?
